Our fundraising events have been a major success!
We have hosted a few different fundraisers now and they have been amazing. Thank you so much to everyone that has attended them! If you missed out, don't worry you can find our latest events here.
One of our goals with Stirling Pride is to bring the community together for more than just a day. We want to be able to have smaller events like these all year long and your continued support will help us achieve that, thank you.
If you have an idea for an event you would like to see us do, please get in touch via email. As we prepare to host our first Stirling Pride in September our reply time may be longer than expected.
Stirling Pride in the news... 📰
STIRLING is set to host its very first LGBT+ Pride event.
It comes after nearly 300 Forth Valley residents filled out a survey from Creative Stirling, LGBT Youth Scotland, and the University of Stirling which sought to gauge levels of support for a Pride event in the Forth Valley.
More than 90% of respondents backed an event, with the majority calling for it to be held in Stirling city centre.
“At that point, we got all of the relevant authorities into a room and said ‘we need to make this happen’,” Scott McMurray, one of the event’s organisers, told The National.
“It was clear that there was demand for it.”

The original Forth Valley Pride Consultation Result
The Forth Valley Pride consultation was released by Creative Stirling, LGBT Youth Scotland and University of Stirling to provide a platform for Forth Valley residents to have their say and decide if Pride celebrations should take place in their area.
The results of the consultation show that Forth Valley residents do want their own Pride event, with 91% of the 296 responses in favour of FV Pride. The survey also asked residents to have their say on where and when the main celebration should take place, what elements would make a great pride for them and what are their accessibility priorities (results as shown on infographics).
The next stage is to support a committee of local people to plan and facilitate the next steps in organising FV Pride, supported by local organisations. We are also encouraging local businesses/organisations to get involved and host their own Pride events.
