Maker's Market

🏳️‍🌈 Pride Market time! 🏳️‍🌈 We’re on the lookout for artists and makers to take part in our Pride Makers Market on Saturday 6th July, to help us fundraise for Stirling Pride! We are particularly keen to support traders who fall under the LGBTQ+ umbrella, however everyone is welcome to apply!

When? 6th of July 2024 11AM to 3PM

📌 Where? Holy Trinity Scottish Episcopal Church, 6 Albert Pl, Stirling FK8 2RG.

🤔 What? A market where people who make things such as decorative objects or food by hand can sell their products directly to customers. We’re planning on having some home baked goods, teas and coffees and a raffle on as well to help us raise funds to make sure Stirling Pride is as fabulous an event as it deserves to be!

🎫 Tickets? You don't need a ticket to attend as a guest. If you'd like you can add it to your calendar by clicking here. There is however a small fee to attend as a maker, you can find more information and apply by clicking here.

Access? Step free access to the church is available via a ramp. An accessible toilet is available inside.

🧏‍♀️ Sensory? The hall is usually lit with bright, natural light. It could be noisy due to lots of people chatting and there is the possibility of music playing. We are planning to also utilize space outside if the weather allows.

Introducing the makers... 🤩

Braw Bumble

Inspired by nature, not just bees.

Braw Bumble is an art brand selling nature inspired illustrations as prints, cards, accessories, and most recently small sculptures. It is an eco-conscious brand using biodegradable and recycled materials where possible. I (Sam) work primarily in watercolour, using it to create bright but delicate work and am often playing with line weight to explore dimension and texture in my work. I take these illustrations and create fun products and accessories to bring a little joy to the everyday. These include vinyl stickers, pin badges, and keyrings.

Recently I have expanded Braw Bumble’s collection to include small polymer clay sculptures for home décor. The ‘Plant Pals’ range are small clay sculptures (predominantly mushrooms) on wire spokes perfect for adding a flash of colour in a houseplant, or in the garden for a touch of whimsical joy! The ‘Moody Mushroom’ collection feature little mushroom inspired characters to use as worry stones or as a fidget/stim tool. They are designed with the ND community in mind, fit right in your pocket, and are built to provide a little bit of comfort and joy in stressful situations. (Can you tell I like mushrooms…)

Meriline Art

"I am a socially engaged neurodiverse artist whose work is inspired by the way I see the world and pop culture around me, primarily tv, film and everything in between. My work primarily uses cats as my daughter makes me :) but also because they are our autistic spirit animal.

My work is about celebrating who you are and finding the humour in the world through art and cats..."
